hi Alison
My son who is 22 and myself (62) would like to come to your classes – we are planning to try out Friday morning as I know Monica who has given me your details.. but it might be that we occasionally come to the Headington class – is that OK?
Hi Ingrid
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, it would be fine for you to come to the Friday morning class with your son and to swap around sometimes to come to the Wednesday evening class in Headington. The Friday class can be busy, but I’ve never had to turn anyone away yet! I hope your son doesn’t mind an older group – there’s a couple of younger people who sometimes come, but none his age (though Wednesday’s is a pinger cohort)! Come and give it a try anyway if you’d like to – and see whether it’s what you’re both looking for.
The class is in the Samaritans Training Room on Magdalen Rd (which is to the right of the main front door, opposite Pegasus Theatre) and runs from 9.15 – 10.30am. The Wednesday evening class is at 4 Brookside – the studio is to the right of the main house – you’ll see it from the road, and runs from 6.15- 7.45pm. It costs £10 drop-in or £8 if you block book or for drop-in concessions (students etc).
Hi Alison
I am 50 year old (nearly 51) and planning to start yoga . Is your class on Sunday appropriate for beginners?
also can you give me more information about
2/3/4th February 2018: weekend retreat at Redfield Centre, Buckinghamshire
many thanks
Renee
Hi Renee – thanks for your inquiry about yoga classes and the yoga weekend in February. The Sunday evening class is not specifically a beginners class, but there are people there of all ages and levels of experience, bendiness and fitness! I’m in my 60’s – so you’re definitely not too old!
You’d be very welcome to come along and try it and see whether you like the style of vinyasa flow yoga and whether it’s what you’re looking for. It’s at St Albans Hall, Charles St from 6.30-8pm. It costs £10 drop-in or £8 per class if you pay for a block (you can then come to other classes I teach within the block period if you can’t make a class). You’re probably best to try out a class, and then if you like the sort of yoga I teach, I can give you more info about the weekend – there are still a couple of places left, so I’ll bear in mind that you might be interested.
Hope to meet you soon – do email or ring if you have other queries on 07709 638560.
