Chair-based or Seated Yoga allows people recovering from injuries/illnesses, or with mobility issues, disabilities or age-related issues, to practise yoga. I use the same concepts and poses as Vinyasa Yoga and translate them to make them accessible to all. It increases flexibility, range of movement, strength and balance, as well as offering breathing and meditation to reduce stress and tension and encourage improved sleep.
